Saxophonist Nico Colucci strives to energize the souls of his listeners through his musical versatility. Between his cross-genre compositions, RnB/Funk/Pop influence, passion for ethnocentric grooves, and roots in jazz, Colucci performs for a wide range of people. As a Vail Jazz Workshop graduate, YoungArts Honorable Mention, and a Brubeck Jazz Summit alum, Nico Colucci is a highly sought after performing and recording musician. His debut album, Introducing Nico Colucci, of seven original compositions, has allowed him to share his music all over the world, and opened the door to a plethora of opportunities in the Bay Area. He is currently studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, his mentors include Joshua Redman, David Sanchez, Tony Peebles, and many of the members of the SFJAZZ Collective
